The routes contain thousands of waypoints with an accuracy of a few meters. For faster map loading, the routes are displayed in a smoothed form after passing through an algorithm called Douglas-Peucker . Its purpose is to smooth a linear curve while reducing the maximum number of points.

The downloadable files and the Google Maps link contain the original route and include all the original waypoints.
